Land Art Design has been designing and installing creative and innovative landscapes since 1984. Working the land, understanding and navigating county requirements, being sensitive and attentive to your budget and lifestyle are all important to us. Each project is unique, and each client’s relationship is personal.

We are a team of professionals who have worked together for years. We have custom stone masons and carpenters, whose understanding and attention to custom craft enable us to build almost any imaginative vison or design presented to them. Thinking outside the box is how we approach each and every project respecting your expectations and lifestyle.

Clare Siegel

Hello! I’m Clare, owner and founder of Land Art Design (established in 1984). I love, love what I do.

I have been blessed to have landed on a career that sustains my passion for creativity, being outdoors, being busy and productive. Imagining, creating and building beautiful places to enjoy with family and friends has been the joy of my life.

Jimmy Boryan

Building has always been in my blood. It started with my tree house, carried me on to become a carpenter’s apprentice. I joined the Land Art Design team about 15 years ago where I have been able to develop my skills.

Hello! I’m Marco, a fresh University of Maryland graduate and the newest office assistant at Land Art Design.

Katie Friedlein

Hi- I’m Katie the Office Manager. As the newest member of the team, I’m looking forward to contributing to the team’s success and learning from everyone. I enjoy engaging and helping with Clients and seeing their Dream Project come to life.

When I was a teenager, I use to mow over 20 yards on my own as “The Girl Next Door Lawn Care”. I had no idea landscaping includes so many other services to make the yard Pop!

Our Process

Step 1:
Personalized On-Site Design Consultation

Each project begins with an on-site meeting with one of our talented designers. We’ll walk your property with you, assessing your needs, lifestyle, tastes, and budget.

Step 2:
Collaborative Design Presentation

Once the design is completed, we’ll schedule a presentation with you. Together, we’ll go over the proposed features and iterate until you feel happy with the finished design.

Step 3:
Comprehensive Project Proposal

We’ll provide a detailed proposal for your review, itemizing each aspect and cost associated with the project, including various material and design options

Step 4:
Complete with Professional Craftmanship

Final design in hand, our craftsmen work to carry out your project with professionalism, efficiency, minimal disturbance, and attention to detail.
