Hi — I'm Clare owner and founder of Land Art Design I love, love, love what I do! I have a passion for creating and building beautiful landscapes; "When I come upon a difficult site it excites me, even more, I put on my thinking cap and away I go" This excitement has not wavered in over 35 years in the business.

I joined Land Art in 2003 and I manage our main office in McLean.

Hi – I'm Walter, with over 40 years of experience in the landscape and outdoor construction field, there is an art and science to designing outdoor living areas.
Creating an experience so perfect, you’ll never want to go back inside, takes more than a traditional landscaper or hardscape company’s mentality.
It takes a love of nature and harmony so strong you can taste it and smell it…feel it in your DNA.

Hello, I am Marco an architecture student at UMD. It is my pleasure to work as a landscape drafter in Land Art Design with all friendly team members! I hope the harmony in landscape design would bring joy to everyone!

Building has always been in my blood. It started with my tree house, carried me on to become a carpenter's apprentice. I joined the Land Art team about 15 years ago where I have been able to develop my skills.

Our Process
At Land Art, we want our clients to feel comfortable and relaxed during the design-build process, and would like to let you know a little about the way we work:
Each project begins with an on-site meeting between you and one of our talented designers. The designer will walk your property with you to get a feel for the design intent of the project and discuss with you your needs, lifestyle, tastes, and budget.
When the design is completed, the fun begins! We will schedule a design presentation with you, and together you and the designer will go over the design choices that have been proposed.
Our design specialties include: water features, screened porches and decks, sunrooms and conservatories, sheds and outbuildings, outdoor living and dining areas, grills and outdoor fireplaces, patios and verandas, arbors and pergolas, swimming pools, spas, fire pits, terraced retaining walls, ornamental ironwork, porticos, fences, gates, and of course- beautiful ornamental plantings.
We prefer to work with natural materials and are known for balancing the elements of our designs with the existing landscape and the character of the property. Once you and the designer have finalized your design choices, our respectful teams will install your project in as timely a fashion as possible.
